A strong and diverse Reinsurance programme allows Western Pacific Insurance to take full advantage of our business model, which is to write not only geographically diverse business but also a wide range of policy classes and risks within these territories.

Since Western Pacific Insurance commenced underwriting in April of 2005 we have had in place a secure and well rated Reinsurance program. A strong Reinsurance Program protects Western Pacific’s capital base as well as providing for our client’s additional piece of mind with regards to every policy we underwrite.
Building on from our previous treaty programs the 2010 program has added a number of new Reinsurers allowing us to comfortably handle larger risks especially in Catastrophe affected locations. All our Reinsurers have a A- rating or better, with many of them being A+.
Our Reinsurance panel consists of 17 reinsurers- 8 of these being Lloyds Syndicates. This certainly shows that these Reinsurers have faith in the Management of Western Pacific Insurance and support our business plan. The new 2010 program no doubt assisted in our recent ratings upgrade.
